Next Monday, I will release B/X Cosmonaut, a free, fully illustrated (B&W) pdf. Don't get too excited, it's only five pages long (but it is done). At that time, I will also make a fresh start and delete all prior posts, including this one. If there is something you would like, grab it now, the end is upon us.
In the meantime here is a preview:
Why the razing?
ReplyDeleteI protesteth the wanton destruction. Unless you're working all this material into some giant book. In which case -- huzzah!
ReplyDeleteYou devil!
ReplyDeleteSecond the question of why the deleteing?
ReplyDeleteSecond the question of why the deleteing?
ReplyDeleteIt is complicated. I want to replace the fragements with finished things, and everything has to be revised. Also, I have definite ideas about how to get this done. The old 'art' makes me cringe. The older the cringier, too. It has to go.
ReplyDeleteFurther, I am not constrained by reason. I just do stuff.

DeleteLike that.
Exactly like that. My dress is more flouncy, though.
DeleteFlashback to Huge Ruined Pile...the pain...oh God...the pain
ReplyDeleteCan I cast a vote for the Please Don't Delete Your Stuff team? If you want a blank slate, create themoremetalearth.blogspot and post your new stuff there. Just don't subtract from the good, creative, wonderful corner of the internet. Better imperfect than absent.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOO! No deleting! This is one of my absolute favorite blogs and I have not time to save it all! *crying*
ReplyDeleteOkay. I'll probably just move all the links to the older stuff to a new page.
ReplyDeleteThe art, however, will have to go. I can't have people looking at 2009 art thinking that is the best I can do. Hell, I don't even want people looking at art from fucking February of this year. All artist go through this of course, but I am having an especially acute episode.
Anyway, how do you all feel about that cover, and how the fuck did all you nerds miss the fact that he has Conan's Dad's sword?
Your illo-work is definitely improving by leaps, bounds and manly prancing.
DeleteI totes did not notice the Cimmerian sword.
